My name is TC Conner and I’m a freelance writer, master gardener, amateur photographer, musician, father and husband. I live and garden on four acres in zone 5 western Pennsylvania. I grew up listening to bluegrass music in south-central Kentucky (zone 7) where red clay soils are abundant and where tobacco was once the #1 cash crop. I write a weekly gardening column that is carried in two local newspapers, and I’m a contributing writer to Life & Times, a monthly magazine geared toward seniors. I take all of the photographs for my articles with a Sony DSC H1 5 mgp 12x optical zoom camera. I drive a school bus during the school year and garden during the summer.
